One of our members, Lundar from Western Gate, otherwise known as Eric Wilbanks, assaulted another member at our park this past Sunday. He was placed under
arrest that same day. At the time of the incident, he was also being investigated by our board of directors for excessive headshots and swinging with anger
after several complaints.
The person who was assaulted did not provoke it, and was attacked from behind. He recieved several bruises, a black eye, and lacerations.
While our Duke has not passed an Amtgard related sentence as of yet, it will likely be a minumum of a six month ban, and could range to a 2 years ban, or ban for life. Our king has agreed to impose whatever sentence we pass throughout the kingdom (which encompasses the entire midwest.)
It's entirely possible that Eric may come to you, looking for a new game to play. I wanted to pass this information along, in the case of that event.
