A lot of people that are supposedly in the realm already could really work on showing up to practice. (everybody should know when and where practice is) I've been talking to all of my friends that seem interested in beating the crap out of each other. And I'd I may have a few more people comeing out in the spring, if they keep coming is anther thing. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to get more people out there? Especially more females. cuz I'm really tiered of looking at Carn and angmarths ugly mug all the time Fenris Out

But I am not of age to battle. But I would be more than happy to help people practice on the side and get the crap beatin out of me. And my name on here pretty much gives away that I am a female. But I would really like to come out there and have fun. Maybe I can bring some people out there to fight. I'm sure I can find a few or more people to join Arnor. I don't know about the feasability demoing for high schools, tho, that'd probably be more of a hassle than getting a green-light from Meramec or UMSL. I'd think Boy Scout troops would be another good place to recruit for future members a couple years down the road (I thought the BSA thing we did the beginning of fall went over real well). One thing that the old Dragonslayer's did that I thought was a good idea was they had tournaments throughout the year that doubled as membership drives. Anyway, any kind of recruitment thing that comes up I'd gladly be in on if my schedule allows. And yeah, the female gamer population is a tad sparse 'round these here parts. BTW, have you heard from Spoon at all? Ai! Varda, Elentri! Lavaly macilinya apair ter calya ve tanen anafairi!

But you're probably right about the too much trouble. Maybe keep an eye out for local Cons and do that. I know we didn't even attempt to demo at Name-That-Con or archon (whichever is in collinsville) last year. Cons are probably one of the best places to go for recruiting. As for women out there, at least ones of age, I don't know how many chicks are really cool enough to want to fight. P.S. I saw spoon for new years, I've got his # and shiznit if I had to get intouch w/ him. but I haven't really seen anybody since I starteed working graveyard shift. Fenris Out

Some of them were noncommital, and nearly all of them just plain forgot about it. Basically, they're all talk and no show. I work sunday nights so I won't be able to go to 1 day events out of town especially if they are on sunday. I'm barely able to stay awake to fight on sat afternoon, and I get to go home and sleep as much as I want then. But I'm already planning on going to Spring War, Armageddon and next Octoberfest. Are thier any more events that "we" (arnor) usually go to? so I can plan ahead of time for? It's good to see a few people trying to recruit new "cult" members. Walker Army Ranger is DONE w/ his enlistment sometime early april and will be going to Spring war w/ me. ( I think) but he'll be out on the regular guarnteed. Stash: when is your sisters birthday mine is the week before Arm. And She is a start, what about the fiancee (sp) ? she down to kick your ass too? And theresa trust me I totally understand people B.S'n on showing up, but hey at least you're trying. And if everybody trys then eventually a few people will be out to check it out. And Spoon is a buddy of mine from high school, he used to fight w/ Varno, Derek, Steve, Walker Army Ranger and I at Warlords. Varno asked about him, not sure why really. Fenris Out

Personally I will be trying to get to: Spring War, Melcorme, Beltain, Arm, Summer War, Equinox, and Octoberfest. Yes: that would be why my knees are messed up Fenris (see Bele board) Sis's b-day is June 17th No, Angie doesn't want to fight. She won't be going to events with me either.
